WELCOME
TO CRUISE TO . . .
There are quite a few cruise sites on the Internet but they are cluttered, hard
to read and often confusing so this is an attempt to create something that just
provides you with the information you are looking for . . . and is easy to read.
This site makes no recommendations and nor does it compare one cruise line against
another. There are hundreds of cruises to choose from all catering to different
tastes. The object of the site is to bring togther in one place the information
and links that will enable you to find what you want more easily.
If you have any suggestions or ideas please let us know, or if you would like to
become a contributor just email info@cruiseto.co.uk.

ranging cuisine you can hope to find. You will travel to exotic destinations with
fascinating ports of call on the way.
A cruise has something for everyone - you can choose to enjoy the peace and tranquility,
dance the night away or watch the spectacular entertainment. The essential ingredient
of a cruise is your enjoyment.
The experience of a lifetime!

CRUISING AS SEEN BY A FIRST TIME CRUISER
We have just returned (from
cruise aboard Orient Lines' Crown Odyssey) so thought you might appreciate some
feedback from our cruise so hence putting a few words down to send to you.
Basically, we had an absolutely fantastic time. From the outset when we arrived
in Rome we were taken to the Hilton Hotel for lunch (admittedly only a very basic
buffet) but the wine was free and the food and sit down very welcome after the journey.
Our transfer to the ship was smooth and Boy! Were we impressed when we set eyes
on the ship. On embarkation the ladies were presented with a flower - what a nice
gesture.
The ship itself is absolutely beautiful - she has such style - one cannot help but
be impressed. All that has been said about the Filipino crew is absolutely true.
They work non-stop to make sure everyone enjoys themselves and are unfailingly polite
(even when dealing with demanding passengers).
The food
was absolutely superb - the Seven Continents restaurant was lovely and the food
always well presented and varied. Our waiter was very efficient and we never had
to wait.
The room service for the food was also unexpected. This was fully inclusive and
should we have missed lunch, which we often did as we were out ashore, we could
order from a varied menu and the food was, as usual a very high standard. We could
not get over the fact that this was inclusive. Imagine the charge if one ordered
from a hotel in London, or similar.
The shows, as we had already read, were not what Orient Lines are renowned for but
we enjoyed them and the dancers were particularly good.
Deck space was plentiful and there was always plenty of room except for the one
day at sea when of course nobody went on tours, it was slightly cramped.
Our cabin was kept immaculate, despite the fact that we are spectacularly messy
when on holiday and it was lovely to return to your bed turned down, curtains drawn,
etc, etc. Clean towels replaced twice daily.
All in all it was a fantastic experience.
Many thanks for all your efforts to get our cruise organised. It was well worth
it and I think I can safely say it is the best holiday we have ever had and the
cruise bug has definitely bitten us!!!
