CRUISE SHIPS:

BRAEMAR

Braemar

Experience an elegant and captivating atmosphere when you cruise on Braemar.

During her recent major refit and lengthening, Braemar added over eighty passenger cabins and suites with balconies, bringing the standard occupancy up to 929. Voted 'The Best Refurbished Ship' in Cruise Critic's 'Editor's Pick Awards' 2009, she is also the second of our ships to feature a pub, which, on occasion, offers entertainment in the form of a late night comedian or jazz.

Braemar Room
The Braemar Room retains an atmosphere of refined elegance.
Ideal for meeting fellow passengers, catching up on that best-seller or listening to the resident string trio. The Braemar Room is also adjacent to the Library, Card Room, Morning Light Pub and Boutique, so is an integral area of the ship.

Coral Club
This sophisticated lounge, seating 170 guests, is the venue for intimate evening shows, great music for dancing to the resident live band, as well as occasional late night cabarets.
It offers alternative shows to those in the Neptune Lounge, which are also given in two performances. Afternoon tea is often served in the Coral Club, which is also the location for the ever-popular on-board Bingo.

Lido Bar
Enjoy a relaxing drink or an al fresco meal and soak up the sunshine from this great vantage point on board Braemar.
This area of the ship is perfect for enjoying breakfast or lunch (weather permitting) and the sailaway parties, or just a quiet drink before or after dinner.

Marquee Pool Bar
The pool bar provides plenty of choice of soft drinks, cocktails, wines and beers.
Situated on Deck 7, the Marquee Bar is the perfect way to settle down with a drink or a light lunch, or just to enjoy some cool shade for a while, on a hot, sunny day. The canopied area lets the sun flood in. Enjoy an ice cold drink up at the Pool bar, before taking a dip in the pool or relaxing in one of the Jacuzzis.

Morning Light Pub
Like your own local, this is the ideal place for socialising with friend old and new.

The Morning Light Pub is decorated in a traditional style, depicting the century and a half of Fred. Olsen history. Daytime or evening you can be entertained by occasional live music or stand-up comedians.

Neptune Lounge
Take your seat in the Neptune Lounge as the sun goes down and experience a glamorous variety of entertainment, music, dance, lights and costumes.
The Neptune Lounge is one of Braemar's two show theatres, although music and entertainment is on offer throughout the ship. There are normally two performances here each evening, giving guests a chance to see the show whatever their dining time. There's also a different show in the Coral Club at the same times, adding to the variety and enjoyment.

Observatory Lounge
Set at the forward end of the ship, this lounge allows you a panoramic view of your journey.
The large windows in the Observatory Lounge afford fantastic views which are enhanced with plenty of binoculars spaced around the lounge. A grand piano provides the perfect background music as you enjoy a pre-dinner drink.

Skylark Club
Braemar’s late-night spot, with its Italian-designed tub chairs and comfy banquettes, is as intimate as any at sea.
This room is dominated by an attractive bar crafted from dark blue stone. Glass doors lead onto a sculptured terrace for relaxing under the stars, while optional partitions ensure privacy for small cocktail parties or daytime activities. The roulette and blackjack tables are also situated here.
